Hi!

One of the first questions we get about moving abroad is:

➡️ "What are you doing about healthcare?" (I'm thinking it's an age thing. LOL!)

It's a smart question, and some don't understand. Here's the truth: to use another country's healthcare system, you must be a legal resident or citizen. That means applying, qualifying, and being accepted. While some people believe it, no one is "sponging" off anyone — you're part of the system, just as locals are.

The good news? Becoming a resident in a foreign country is doable. Step by step, with curiosity and preparation, living abroad can be one of the most rewarding transitions you'll ever make if it's what you want.

When we applied for our Digital Nomad Visa and got pet passports for our dogs, we had a lot of help.

I'm happy to share the resources we used because the right guidance can make the process significantly smoother!

Like anything else, it takes desire, action, good practices, consistent practice, staying resilient when it gets tough, and always remaining committed to the outcome you want. Thriving Through Transition,

Jeanne
