Hi!

Transition is never a one-and-done event—it's a way of life, especially when you're over 50, traveling extensively, or making a move abroad.

I don't just coach people through this—I live it daily. I earn online while living overseas, hire teachers and coaches to support me, and adjust, adapt, and grow alongside the people I serve.

Here are five grounding practices I return to when everything around me is shifting. They help me stay steady, focused, and open—and maybe they'll help you, too:

  1. Let go of expectations. Plans are great—until life asks you to pivot. The less I expect something to go a certain way, the more room I leave for better outcomes.

  2. Stay in wonder. Curiosity softens the edges of discomfort. It becomes possible when I meet something unfamiliar with wonder instead of resistance.

  3. Feel deep gratitude. Even in the messiness of change, I remind myself: what a gift it is to have the chance to try something new. Not everyone makes the choice.

  4. Trust what practice makes possible. We can't control outcomes, but we can affect them by showing up, doing the work, and trusting in the long view.

  5. Say thank you every day. To others. To yourself. Out loud. And if you're in a different country? Learn how to say thank you in the local language. It builds bridges in the smallest, most meaningful way.

If you're considering a transition, traveling extensively, or planning a move abroad, I'd love to chat and see how I can support you. As always, with love and encouragement, Jeanne 🌺
